Support
The Kingman Carnegie Library gratefully accepts donations of all kinds. We thrive on support from our local community members. Any monetary donations to the library are tax-deductible.
Books, Movies, Audio Books...
The library does the best it can to provide as many new books, movies and more as we can. However, to keep our collection growing, we would gladly take donations!
Any items that we cannot use in our collection will be added to our annual book sale and will help fund new items for the library.
New or gently used:
Hardcover Books
Paperback Books
DVD's or BluRays
Audio Books
Craft Items...
Do you have some craft items laying around that you are no longer using? The library provides craft programs for children several times a week and our craft supplies do dwindle! Some items that would be greatly appreciated..
New or gently used:
markers
pencils
crayons
construction paper
glue sticks
toilet paper or paper towel rolls.
paper egg cartons
paper plates
wiggly eyes
perler beads
Summer Reading Programming...
Our annual summer reading program is our challenge to prevent the "summer slide" for children of all ages from birth to high school. Libraries across the world offer fun incentives and programs year-round to help better prepare students for the next school year by encouraging them to read. These incentives are anything from books to small prizes. We schedule entertainers for educational programs, craft programs, storytime, and more. Adults can get in on the fun too! Would you like to help sponsor one or several of these programs? We would love your support.
